Lanny Summers

Lanny Summers sings lead and serves as the Crystal River Boys’ emcee and driver. Before singing lead with the Crystal River Boys, Lanny sung tenor in his previous groups. He has sung with groups in northeast Tennessee, such as the Potter’s Clay and the Keynotes Quartet. Lanny was also part of a group called the Revelations with his brother Danny (former Crystal River Boys’ baritone) and Leon Coomer, the brother of Crystal River Boys’ tenor Harold Coomer. Lanny works for the contractor Brock at the Eastman in Kingsport. He and his wife Dorothy reside in Kingsport, TN.
